Our group of four arrived at 11:30. From the outside the place looked unimpressive. There was only a few patrons and we were wondering if we had made a mistake in.eating there. We were happy we had got there early as the dinning room filled VERY quickly. The waitress was quick to take our order. We choose cake to take out, while we waited for our food. Our drinks and salads came. The Sweet Southern Tea was awesome. It wasn't too sweet, but just right. The salads came with the slight error of added onions, which we just picked out. There was also a hair on the outside of the plate the waitress removed. Then the food came and Oh my!!! The food was awesome!!! My mother and I had lasagna. It was the perfect blend of sausage, cheese, pasta and sauce. In my 56 years on this Earth, I had never tasted lasagna this good. My sister got a pita wrap with lamb and a side of fries. She said her food was good although the tomato was missing. My nephew had ordered a chicken dish which he said was good. The waitress had become flustered as she had to be reminded about the tomatoes, extra napkins and drink refills. While we were still eating she brought out our togo desserts (6) and a meal had ordered for my husband. We couldn't make enough room for the food we were still eating and the take out items, on our table for four. I took some of the take out items to the front and asked the cashier if I could place the bags and drink at the register. Before I left I noticed there was no breadsticks or plastic ware so requested that be added. Theni noticed the salad had onions which the cashier quickly fixed. The salad dressing got changed during the correction and I missed that. The prices were reasonable, the food and desserts were amazing although one of the four cake slices was cut much smaller prompting the question, did you eat half of my cake? Lol!.As we were leaving I inquired about a party for about 125 people. I was told they could accommodate 128 people and could move tables around to allow for a dj and dancing. The beautiful and gracious lady was Amy, the co owner. We had a pleasant short conversation. I can't wait to go back this weekend. Although It is about a 30 minute drive, I will be dining there again often.
This is a great restaurant for the area. They have a great variety of foods on menu and I have never ordered an item that I would never order again. The owners and staff are always willing to please and I look forward to eating there whenever I'm in town visiting family.
My family and I recently moved about 2 years ago to the area from Detroit, so we know pizza! This is the place we have been looking for. We drive 45 minutes 3-4 times per month to get Dino's wings, pizza, and cheesecake. It is seriously the best! Whenever we have family or friends visiting from out of town, this is where we take them for dinner. The staff is so friendly, and we haven't found one thing on the menu that we didn't love! So nice to have a go-to place.
If you'd told me a year ago that I'd be raving about the chicken and dumplings at an Italian restaurant, I would have had you taken to the funny farm. But Dino has done it! From his fried mozzarella all the way through to his house-made cheesecakes, the man can just flat COOK. And his lovely wife does a fantastic job keeping the front of the house humming. Highly recommended!
Me and my hubby came in a couple weeks ago, I wanted to try it... And ohhh my gosh! It was awesome! I had the Cheese Ravioli and it was great, Salad and Breadsticks was really fresh and the ranch was amazing! He had the Pepperoni pizza and it was better then any pizza place around here.. It was so good we went back the next night to have it again! I had the Grilled Chicken Alfredo with a salad and it was amazing! two people could have ate off my plate! The hubby had the pepperoni pizza again.. Awesome place and nice wait staff! Felt like you are at home! We will be back!! 🙂
My family and I have eaten numerous times here and have had a wonderful experience every time. From pasta, pizza to burgers the food is amazing. The service is wonderful as well as you are made to feel welcome and your needs are attended to at every turn. Last but certainly not least are the desserts are beyond description!! You are missing out if you don't give this place a try!!
So David & I had lunch from Dino's Pizzeria today...I can't speak for David on his pizza (I didn't have any!) but I had one of the lunch specials:
Angelina's Butter Chicken with a salad & bread stick
Oh My Goodness! The salad was extremely fresh...it tasted like everything had just been cut up right before I walked in the door! The Butter Chicken was fantastic it with juicy pieces of chicken, mushrooms, sweet strips of grilled onions and grilled chopped ham over angel hair pasta & alfredo sauce.
Not exactly waistline friendly but OH SO GOOD!
I can't wait to try some of their homemade desserts next time!
